Admin Approvals
This tab is where every regularisation request that's already been approved or declined by a manager shows up for admin review. Think of it as the organisation-wide view — admins aren't restricted to just their own reportees here, they get visibility across every team.
The way it works is pretty similar to Manager Approvals. Admins can open up any ticket and see all the relevant details — the discrepancy type, what time was requested, the reason the employee gave, and which hours of the day are involved. On top of that, they can also see who approved or declined the request at the manager level, since it has to pass through that stage before landing on the admin's desk. When it comes to actually approving or declining, the process mirrors exactly what happens in Manager Approvals, so there's nothing new to learn there.
Right below the pending tickets, there's a running log of every action taken on requests across all teams. So down the line, if there's ever a question about who approved what, that record is sitting right there as proof. And if the pending list starts piling up, admins have the option to search or filter it — either by employee name or by request type — to find what they need faster.
Steps for Admin Approvals
- Open the Admin Approvals tab
- View requests which have already been processed by managers across the organisation
- Open a ticket to view discrepancy type, requested time, reason, hours worked, and who approved or declined the request at manager level
- Approve or decline the request (same process as with Manager Approvals)
- Search/filter by employee name/request type if necessary (if there are too many pending approvals to view)
- Scroll down to the running log beneath the approvals to view a summary of all actions taken across the organisation
